About Us

We opened in 1964 and have been a favourite for several generations of many families. It is not at all unusual for a parent to visit looking for the same things that they played with as a child.

K and K’s philosophy is that a good toy should engage the child’s mind and require interaction, providing lasting interest and play value. Our toys, games and puzzles appeal to the imagination and foster creative and cooperative play.

We are also renowned for our book section, which caters for all ages from babies to teens. We do read many of the books ourselves, so our staff members can recommend from personal experience.

Our shops have ample parking. In addition, there is a play area for toddlers, and enthusiastic staff ready to help you in a comfortable air-conditioned environment.

We have all year round free gift-wrapping and we are pleased to accept layby. We accept all major cards including American Express and Diners Club, and of course, we take EFTPOS.
