This felt mat is inspired by the rugged beauty of rockpools and the gentle ebb and flow of ocean tides. Carefully handcrafted from New Zealand wool and coloured with azo-free dyes, it provides a richly textured base for small world play.
The design includes layered blue felt to mimic the sea's depth, gentle wave patterns, and raised rock formations that form tidepools. Children can explore imaginary underwater worlds, discover felt crabs tucked under rocks, or create their own sea life stories with dolphins, shells, and boats. Each playscape is designed in Melbourne and ethically handmade by women artisans in Nepal. As a Fair Trade Certified product, it supports both play and purpose. To care for your playscape, simply spot clean with a damp cloth and air dry. It is not machine washable.

Our flat rate within the majority of Australia is $9.95 each order for standard courier or Australia Post delivery, but free for orders over $125.
Express shipping is available on most products at check-out.
Some of our larger items are bulky and heavy, and so they are excluded from the flat rate fee and free shipping. These may incur additional shipping charges based on your location. Please refer to our shipping policy or contact us for further information.
Gift wrapping is available although that may not be possible for some large items and we will let you know promptly if that is the case. Our Checkout process notifies choices during purchasing. Just let us know what message you wish it to have.
Returns
We understand you may change your mind! If your order has been dispatched, we will arrange a refund or exchange for you, as long as the products are returned:

- In a saleable condition upon return
